Ds is only 15 months but, will be 18 months this summer.

We have a basketball hoop (Little Tykes), we're getting him a water table, and my mom got him the Little Tykes BBQ for Easter.

My parents also gave him a climbing thing for Christmas (well, a giftcard towards it - I just have to get it).

It's a table that holds water and has different things they can do.

Here's one from TRU (it was just the first one they had listed).

That water table is awesome! Where did you get it?

I'm only getting DS a water table and a sprinkler/pool thing this year. No swingset until we buy a house. He does have the indoor/outdoor sports game slide I'll bring out for him.

We have a couple of the little tyke houses, a ton of balls, a couple ride on cars ( cozy coupe type)

Going to get her a wagon, a blow up or plastic pool and a water table. Also I think she would LOVE a sprinkler!

Since I will be home on maternity all summer I want to make sure she has fun and can be entertained in the yard!

Re: so, what DO you have in your yards/outdoor play spaces for your 18 month + old?

We have an inflatable baby pool (that he had a blast in last week on vacation) and a pool with a sprinkler. A Little Tikes slide/climbing toy, another bigger LT slide, a swing that attaches to our huge tree.

We are planning to buy:

a water table (i've been checking out the Anchors Away one posted)
a picnic table (i like the step 2/LT ones with an umbrella)
a playhouse (don't know which one yet)

Oh, and this is tiny but we got him the gazilion bubble maker while on vacation and he LOVED that thing. He ran, and ran, and ran, and laughed chasing the bubbles.

We just have a little pool right now. We're thinking of getting a sandbox too. My ILs, who have a lot more room and live close by, are planning on getting some stuff though. My MIL already has plans for a swingset since DD has a blast on the swings at the park Chat Icon Chat Icon

The water tables that have been posted look pretty cool though. Might have to look into those.
