I love the fact that it is our home and my kids will have fond memories of many holiday's in their family home. My two year old (Andrew) says "My home" when ever will pull up to the drive way, which I think is the cutest thing.
Besides being appealing to the eye I always wanted my house to feel like "home" for myself and our guests. Our friends love coming and staying with us because of us and the warmth that is felt here.
I also really love my landscaping, my dinning room, the family room and Andrew's Yankee room and as soon as my hubby finishes my daughter's room. I can't wait for her room to be done.

We just sold our condo here in LA but there is tons that I will miss about it, even though I will enjoy having my own home.
Things I will miss:
My amazing neighbors upstairs and next door that I can call upon day or night for help
Having a heated pool to use year round
Full gym a short walk away for early morning workouts
My beautiful oak hardwood floors
The huge living room that is open to kitchen and dining room
My large walk-in closet
Having someone else worry about all the maintenance
I guess once we find our new home I will feel less sad, but I bought this place all on my own before I met my DH so I am really upset I won't be living here much longer.

Being you said "home" and not house I'll answer for my apt....
Oh where do I begin...
Size - I love the open space and the large rooms...from the bedroom, walk in closet w/window, kitchen, LR, DR, heck even the bathroom is big, attic.
Quiet - we're no longer surrounded by people upstairs & downstairs. Just the quiet landlords live downstairs. What a difference when the homeowner lives there!
Washer - clothesline
Dishwasher
The feeling and resemblance on my childhood home.
I love it all.

Probably the location. We can walk to a really nice park. Just wish we were mid-block on our street, rather than the corner.

I love my dining room because it's big and we have beautiful catherdral ceilings. And I love the color we painted it, a firehouse red.

I love our enclosed front porch with our hanging porch swing- our oak floors, bay window in the living room, moldings and leaded glass in the dining room. Also, our big but very outdated kitchen that needs redoing.
I love our area too...but, i wish we had a bigger back yard, bigger bathroom and a family room. also, I wish we had vinyl siding and the front was landscaped!
