I keep checking the news 12 website because last night they had some listed for today. nothing listed right now for tomorrow. Im hoping DDs preschool is closed.

Dreaming of a close here in NJ instead of a delayed opening. As a specialist, delayed openings s uck. I have to cram my entire schedule into a shorter day.

So far Port Jefferson School District is showing a 2 hour delay, and the Lawrence School District is closed for Thursday.

So weird 
I clicked on there before and there was a box that they allowed me to see the school closings w/out an account and now its gone...maybe they are updating or something

There must be tons of people on it....It's loading super slow now !
They were going to be updating as of 8pm and the red bar is reading Breaking News...
In the black bar, click on Numbers and Links..the red bar should pop up, then click on Thursday school closings..
It seems to be working intermittently

Just wanted to give a heads up...
Alot of the online and tv lists are saying that Smithtown is on a 2 hour delay...
I just got the call and the website says CLOSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great, wonderful. Let's see what happens with my office and working from home, since daycare will now also be closed.

Got the News 12 list to work!!
Our district is still open as is DS's school (parochial school, but he needs to follow public district since his bus comes from there).
UPDATE! NO SCHOOL TOMORROW AGAIN! YAY!
