What was the highlight of your day with DC?
Mine - DS fell down and caught my leg with him as he was going down, so I fell and landed on him. He burst into hysterical laughter bc I dont think he has ever seen me fall. Spent the next five minutes laughing going "mommy fell down on Eddie" The two of us were ON THE floor laughing still tangled up in each others legs.

Lily insisted that her daddy give her a bath, put her in pajamas and put her to bed!
Those all used to be my jobs, but I got the night off!!
And then she told me she loved me as she was going up to bed and I listened as he read her the stories....

DS and I sat on our kitchen floor at 11 am this morning and ate an obnoxiously large piece of left over birthday cake. We sang Happy Birthday about 25 times and giggled for a good half hour on the floor

OMG me and Gilly went to see "cloudy without meatballs". go see it! It wasnt the best movie ive ever seen but it definitely made my 2.5 YO very happy. She kept waiting for the next food to fall from the sky. It was like opening Christmas presents...LOL
She kept saying "and what was your favorite part?". I her!

My dad is down visiting from NY and DD was sleeping on her stomach on his chest earlier tonight. He said he remembers doing the same thing with me when I was little.

I pick DS from school and the teacher can't open the door fast enough for him to come out to me. I get a huge smile and a "HI MOMMY"...Melts me all the time (LOL and hes only there 2 hours).
DD is starting to smile and "talk to me"..she looks right in my eyes, smiles and "aaagoooosss"...
Love it!

I may be banned but I will finish the night on a positive note.
- DS started to say 3 syllable sounds today
- He played in his bath today for about 10 minutes.
- He came to me to give me kisses and hugs a few times today
- we were all laying on the floor just "chilling" after a tickle party and DS petted one of the dogs. It was so cute!
We had a good day!

Watching DS#1 write out his name... and the words RED and BLUE....so impressed with his writing skills...
DS#2- Watching him BELLY LAUGH at DS#1- he looks up to him so much already...its just amazing!
