soft serve ice cream?
Last night mr softy came and my husband surprised me with a soft serve cone. I ate it and then I was looking it up if it was ok to eat and reading it was a no no. Especially from ice cream trucks. I am trying to relax about it and not eat it again. What have you read or did your doc say it was ok. Again IF making me a crazy person and overly paranoid.

I hear ya with the over paranoid, bc I've been the same way. My dr told me anything from a pump or machine is a no no bc of listeria.
You will be ok, just don't eat anymore in the future 
He also said to stay away from soft unpasteurized cheeses and cold cuts

Dr. never mentioned it but I read that it was on the stay away list because it's made with raw eggs and can lead to listeria.

I'm sure this one time will be fine! It's a "risk", but it doesn't mean that every batch has listeria. I miss Red Mango like whoa!

My doctor never said I couldn't have soft serve ice cream. Every time I go on the internet it seems the list of what I can't have just grows!

It's a risk because if they don't clean the machines properly it can give you listeria. But if mr softee comes down my block, you bet I'm running after him.

I plan to warn him the first time he comes by to drive s l o w l y down my block. And I'm keeping a mr softee fund by my front door (DHs suggestion).

I ate carvel icecream a lot with both of my pregancies and my dd is fine and I'm 37 weeks pg now so I think its ok. I actually didn't know it was a no no until a few weeks ago.

Had mr softy a few days ago. So good. My doc just told me to stay away from anything in the deli counter.
