some people have the nerve
I am so mad , I need to vent, so here we go:
I have a bagaboo cameleon stroller for sale on craig's list, I priced it $350, lot less than most other people do. There were 2 people who emailed me yesterday they were very interested, yesterday afternoon one of them emailerd me saying that she is very interested and will pick it up later at 6 pm when her DH gets home, so I emailed the other person and told her. The INTERESTED woman calls me last evening saying that she is only interested if I give it to her for $200 b/c it doesn't come with a bassinet!!!!
EXCUSE ME, but this is a 1 year old $900 BAGABOO CAMELEON stroller in a great condition, plus the price includes:
footmuff costs $129-FREE
wheeled board costs $75-FREE
rain cover(came with the stroller)
umbrella costs $35-FREE
cupholder$40-FREE
yes there is no bassinet, but $200, ARE YOU CRAZY!!!
Look elsewhere, you can't get all this for less than 450-500
I am so annoyed and mad, not b/c I didn't sell the stroller, but b/c I can't believe someone would have nerve to do this.
I never got back to her, don't even know what to say.

Craigslist brings out some winners. It's why my mom and I stopped having garage sales- it's insulting what people offer!

I think some people just like to low-ball everything for the sake of it so they can "brag" how cheap they got something.
I think most people will refuse such offer so her loss.
I would have told her it was a great deal already and you could not go any lower, AND good luck in finding what she is looking for.

They can be insulting but on the other hand people on craigslist will buy ANYTHING. You wouldn't believe the JUNK I have sold on craigslist. Stuff I was going to throw out, I got money for. 
Just wait for a realistic offer.

by the way, you don't have to worry about this... your stroller is SUCH a bargain that my favorite modern baby site 'ohdeedoh' had its craigs list scavenger feature your stroller as a 'deal and steal'.
so you have free advertising
ohdeedoh deals and steals for the northeast

I also agree.
I understand what you are all saying, but it was not just her insulting offer that got me mad, but also the way she did it, she said she would take the stroller and be here at 6 to pick it up, never mentioning that the price was the problem, around 5 she says she 'll be here soon, and when I think that she is going to be here any minute,she says she wants it for 200 or not interested, that's why I got so frustrated.

I agree. On craigslists, 90% of people are going to offer less. I don't see anything wrong with that. Yes, its frustrating, but they are trying to get a good deal.
Make sure in your add you either 1. add additional cost in order to accomodate lower offers or 2. same firm.

Honestly, it sounds to me like she spoke to her husband and he told her to give you this "new" ow ball offer.
Maybe he's not aware of how good the deal you're offering is?
At any rate, she was all set to come and get the stroller, she was just waiting for her husband. Now all of a sudden she's countering? Sounds like he was instrumental in her doing what she did.
