soo, remember my "i want to feel labor" post??!! UPDATE IN FIRST POST
Well, last night DH and DTD. Around 4am I woke up in such pain! Contractions- 8-10 mins apart, each one lasting about a minute. I tried to wait it out, but i was in such pain, i woke Dh and we called the Dr. She said to wait until they were 5 mins apart or my water broke and then go to the hospital. So, I showered because I felt yucky- like I had to poop, pee and throwup all at once! After the shower- I layed down on my recliner and eventually fell asleep because the contractions pretty much went away! Now they are mild and very far apart.
WTH!! I'm going to call the dr's office soon, bc I have my 39W appt tonight at 8PM, I'm hoping they can see my earlier and maybe I will be dialated enough to send me to the hospital.
P.S. - now that I know what it feels like  NOT COOL. LOL
UPDATE: Back from Dr. I am 2cm, 75% effaced and she felt my water bag was about to break soon. I am having contractions, I am just not feeling them anymore! (I do feel the contraction a bit, just not pain!) she sent us home with instructions to stay active and thinks I will go tonight or tomorrow!! 
since I have GD, and my due date is Saturday, and I have progress, she is setting up an induction for Friday- just waiting for the confirmation call.
Our little girl will be here within the next 3-4days!!

Yeah I wanted to feel labor too when I was PG with Abby. Once I felt it, the desire was no longer there. Thanks but no thanks. I have ZERO desire to ever feel that again.

i felt the same way leslie...
but lucky me got to feel it for 13 weeks! i was in full blown preterm labor at 24.5 weeks. luckly i wasnt dilating but my contractions were every 2 min and SO NOT FUN! needless to say i was begging for the csection for the duration of my pregnancy!

Aw sweetie. I guess that is why they say be careful what you ask for. All kidding aside at least now you have more of an idea. Your body is defin gearing up for the big show!!!! Hang in there your little girl will be here before you know it!!!!
