Sort of parenting related/PSA: Photo card gripes!
Word of advice:
If you are in a crunch to process and mail out photo cards that you have created and ordered on-line for whatever the occasion may be, make sure you check with the photo center you ordered from BEFORE you pack up your screaming infant to pick them up to get them out in time.
Why? Because I didn't do that and when I went to Walgreens to get these adorable Halloween cards that SHOULD go out today in time for Halloween, they informed me that their photo machine/whatever was DOWN and they could not print cards. So this pizzed off Mom, with above said infant, asked if they could transfer the order to another store that was relatively close by. Im thinking "Gee, it was ordered on the computer, there HAS to be a way to pull up the order number and send it elsewhere."
So the poor photoguy got to witness the fury of an overhwhelmed new mother. I asked him to get me a service rep on the phone and he did. I asked them if they could send the order to another store. They couldn't. I am no longer a customer of Walgreens photo center. There should be a way that they can call YOU to tell you that your order will be delayed especially if your order has your phone number on it.
I suppose it wouldn't be so bad if DH told me where he put my wallet yesterday as I searched for a good 20 minutes before we left for Walgreens with Abby screaming her lungs out. The poor lil miss is still in her car seat snug as a bug in a rug after her traumatic morning.

UPDATE:
The photoguy at Walgreens called me to say the machine was fixed and asked if I wanted him to print the order - poor kid, I think I scared him. I told him it was not his fault but not to bother as I already placed an order with Costco.
I felt bad for the guy, but he did do the right thing.

ARGH!
I know that feeling too well. The pharmacy around the corner from me keeps screwing up my refills, or forgetting them, or putting the infant vitamins under MY account and insurance won't pay for them because I'm an adult. 
Many, many times in the first months of Michael's life, the pharmacy saw the wrath of what I would do if they kept NOT calling me when they had a problem. And you know me, my sarcasm was not wasted.

No its not. I need to listen more. Walgreens was closer but Costco has a better deal. I still feel bad for Photoguy!!!
