Southbay OBGYN or OBGYN close to Lindenhurst

I am in search of a OBGYN close to my home in Lindenhurst....was wondering if any of you go to SouthBay and what are your thoughts on them? Or could you provide input on another Dr. close by?

I go to Dr Judge at South Bay and absolutely love him.

I did have an incident the last appt. The ran late and I sat in the waiting room for 1.5 hrs. I made sure he knew about it and he was very appologetic. Im going in tonight and have to see another Dr. (I have only seen Dr Judge so far) so I can give you my opinion on that Dr later.

Dr Judge also happens to be a family friend so I am also slightly biased.

Dr. Judge is AMAZING! It broke my heart that he won't be delivering me, but I live over 40 mins away so it's crazy to think I can still go to him. But he really is an amazing Dr! I'd check him out for sure!

I used to go to them and was a devoted pt of Dr. Lockhart. Loved her! She was my first gyn. But that office is a wreck! I would ALWAYS have to wait over an hr before I saw the doctor. And I had way too many experiences with "hi I'm here to see Dr. Lockhart." "Ok, you'll be seeing Dr. Xyz tonight". "Excuse me? But I booked with Dr. L". "Well I have you for Dr. Xyz, Dr. L isn't even here today"
If I was told when I made the appt, I would've either accepted that or changed to when my Dr. Was available! this happened why too many times, so I took my records and switched.
I later then moved, so now I have a fab OB/GYN in Huntington.
My mom still sees Dr. Lockhart though.

I see Dr Lockhart there and LOVE her. The previous poster is right though the wait is sometimes REALLY long but she is so worth it. I've never gone to see her and seen another doctor.

I also love Dr. Judge, but hated that you had to see all of the others. A few are terrible! I was not happy especially with the one who delivered DD. I would also be in a preggo rage after waiting an hour or more sometimes and almost walked out. This is why I just switched to Dr. Fanachina in Babylon. My sister goes to him and loves him! She said the longest she has ever waited was 15 minutes.

I go there and love them all.. I am a pt of Dr. Lester but had to see them all during OB with ds I love Dr. Judge though now and will probably go to him more often. There definately is a wait but as I found out later in my pregnancy (wish it was sooner) there are better times to go to get in faster and I used to also call first before I went in to ask what there wait was like so I could leave work appropriately. I love how each Dr. there also specializes in their own types of fields other than basic ob/gyn so if you have any problem at all it will be addressed. Read their Bios on the website.

I go to Southbay OBGYN, and see Dr. Lockhart. have been going for 10 years. I also WAIT A LONG TIME, but it is defintely worth it. The only thing i do not like is that she is not guaranteed to Delivery. I think they work on a rotation schedule.
