Spaghetti squash
Is there anywhere you can buy it already cooked and ready to add to sauces? I despise cooking it. DESPISE.

If you have an instant pot or any other pressure cooker, it’s as easy as placing it in the pot with some water for about 10 minutes.

Why do you despise cooking it? I cook it in the microwave. Doesn't take long at all.
I don't think you can buy it cooked. I've never seen it anywhere.

What is it about cooking it that you despise? I put it in a pan on the stove with a little garlic & oil and saute it for about 8 minutes...really easy.

Re: Spaghetti squash
Sometimes it's in the deli case at Giuseppes. It will have some sort of seasoning/flavor/oil on it that you can cover with any type of sauce.

I don't have a microwave so I have to roast it in the oven. I can never cut it in half. I put it in whole and it never cooks evenly. I burn my fingers cutting it. Then I can never get all the seeds out.
I must be doing something wrong though because I seem to be the only one with these issues!

I had the same problem - no microwave here either!
Buy a pumpkin carving kit (you can still get them on Amazon) and the little knife in there makes cutting it a billion times easier. Once it's in half, roast it cut side down with some oil and s+p for 45 minutes to an hour and you're good to go.

I was going to suggest investing in a good knife. You should be able to cut it in half without too much trouble. Then yiuy can get the seeds out before cooking and just pull out the flesh easily once it's cooked. The pp may have a much cheaper alternative though!

Oh, ok, that makes sense then! Just buy it in noodle form already, all the supermarkets sell it already julienned! Then just saute it. If I had to cut it myself I'd never make it , lol!

Edited to say I'm talking about Squash noodles, so not the same thing! Sorry, guess I didn't read closely! BUT if you want squash noodles, buy them precut!

Cut it in half BEFORE you cook it, cook face down. Get a really good big knife to cut it.
