Speaking of work "friends"
I now have to go to a birthday cake celebration with all of the people I don't like and be "fake" with everyone - the fun never stops here! 
just needed to vent.

I usually try to avoid those somehow by either hiding in the bathroom or pretending I am buried in work.

I try to hide, but the Dept Admin always comes and finds us.
I was in the middle of an INTERVIEW once and she knocked on my door, opened it up and said "Cake time, are you coming???"
I was so pi$$ed.
We are adults. If we chose not to attend we should be left alone!!!
