Only if absolutely necessary. My schedule dictates that I usually poop as soon as I get in the door at home.
The lack of bathroom etiquette in my office disgusts me, though!  These are GROWN women!
ETA: DH will absolutely under no circumstances poop anywhere but our own bathroom or his parent's bathroom. The only exception is on vacation where he'll only poop in our hotel room.

I'm gone from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm...there are times when its a must. Luckily though, we have a gym in our office with a private bathroom/shower so sometimes thats the designated "place to go"

Its not even that...I mean, everyone has had that time when they're in the bathroom and just have wet, embarrassing farts...EVERYONE. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Unfortuately the term "if you gotta go, you gotta go" applies to me.
Good thing though that it's an "adult only"/handicapped bathroom with one door that is unisex.. but the maintenance staff keeps it cleaner than the other bathrooms in the building. We all however chip in for air freshner because it can get ripe in there...

I have no problem with you talking about your bowel movements. However, I don't need a visual of big, wet, sloppy horseshiits. It is perfectly fine to leave it at "yes, I bomb out the bathroom at work". No need to give us the sounds that come along with your exploding anus.

to answer the OP...i don't poop at work. but i very rarely poop in general, so it's not an issue.
there is a woman at my job who kicks the door open and sniffs the bathroom before she goes in.
I have gotten used to breathing from my mouth when in the ladies room, from my stony brook/ classes in javits days!

While at my job the only and private bathroom is right next to the front desk and you can hear everything from outside I try not too. But if I have too I make it as quite as possible

My point is that you're looking down on me for stating that this happens, almost as if this doesn't happen to everyone.

I'd prefer not to but if I have to early in the morning and I'm going to be at work for the next 6-7 hours, then of course.
Unfortunately we recently moved offices so the bathrooms are right there in the office so my co-workers can see who goes in and how long they are in there for. I definitely opt for the bathroom with the fan that's not near as many people!

OMG Javits was the worst
and seriously, there was never any toilet paper in there... I thought that I paid enough tuition in the four years that I went there that they could at least afford some toilet paper
