Spin-off of Organic Whole Milk post...

Sydney doesn't seem to enjoy milk very much - the most she has drank was 1 ounce. She'll drink juice w/water or just water no problem - but it's the milk I'm having problems with. I've tried all different cups at all different times of the day...yesterday I even tried mixing it in with her cereal...but she spit it out.

Any suggestions or tricks to get her to drink?

We had to go with the chocolate syrup to get her to drink it out of the sippy cup...she drinks only about 6 ounces a day total, but at least its something...we try to eat a lot of dairy and calcium rich foods as snacks to supplement...my ped. actually recommended chocolate syrup in order to get her drinking some milk!

They're allowed to have the strawberry & chocolate mixes? I didn't know that.

Not sure about the chocolate at young age b/c of caffein, the strawberry should be okay if its low sugar.

My ped. recommended it...we only use a tiny bit to flavor it and we use the Hersheys with the calcium to make ourselves feel better! I figure that the calcium and vitamins in the milk are better than a bit of caffeine and sugar
