Spin-off to my daycare post
Can anybody tell me whether or not the following places offer care from 8AM-6PM:
Briarwood Montessori in Stony Brook
North Shore Montessori in Stony Brook
Best Learning Center in Hauppauge
HPP Rinx in Hauppauge
JKL Montessori School in Commack
They are all listed with Office of Children & Family Services as providing daycare, but their individual websites seem to show they don't provide traditional daycare hours (as in for parents that work 9-5).

Best offers daycare from 6:30am-6pm I don't know about the rest. (Tutor Time in Commack has the same hrs.) and you don't pay extra for the add'l hrs. at either place.

I think from your list the only one would be Best. I know they have longer hours.
The other option, not sure if it made your list, Tree of Life in Commack, is a preschool/daycare.

I would think some have before and after care. I know our Montessori here in TX is a 'school day' of 8:30-2:45 and I pay for before and after care. So she's in from 7-6:30
