Spin off: yeast infection
People who get them a lot. Besides anti biotics any other reasons??
When i first met my dh years ago I never had one in my whole life then we started to sleep togther and got them them chronically .. my dh ended up taking diflucan and they stopped .... recently I got one in august after a brazilian wax.... now today ...grrr i wish i knew what caused them .. no anti biotcs, no change in diet or drinking alcohol, no new detregents soaps etc
so annnoying , any insights

Hmmm. Knock on wood, I never get them...but how well do you wipe off and dry off after the shower? Leaving that area "damp" can cause them.

I don't think taking it once is a cure-all. Maybe he needs to take it again?

Other possible causes are thongs, tight underwear/pants, wearing panty liners daily, scented tampons, regular douching, having a lot of sugar in your diet, rough/dry sex which can be irritatating and then get worse. I also stay away from condoms with spermicide and most lubes. I don't think they cause yeast infections, but I find them irritating.

I think you are getting it from your husband(I don't think a bikini wax would do that. He should take acidophilus regularly to avoid and maybe see a nutritionist or herbalist. Watch the sugar

If you get them chronically, you really should get tested for diabetes - classic symptom.
