Spinning
Hey..i started spinning about a month or so ago n i'm really loving it!! However, I was wondering what is approximate amount of calories you lose in a 45 minute class. Anyone know?? I really think spinnin is the best workout!! Somedays i want to get off the bike and walk out b/c it is soo hard. However, I never do b/c I'd be embarassed!!!!

I just made a post asking about calories burned during a gym class..
Its prob around 500+, if your not stopping a kick'n A** for 30 min.

i was a spin instructor for a few yrs and some people can burn up to 800 cals in an hour long Spin class

For me I estimate 1 hour is about 400-450 calories...depending on how tough the class is.
I burn a lot more running, 100 calories a mile.
