I tried to search the other threads but couldn't find the answer.. how far in advance can you make them? Also if anyone knows about chocolate covered oreos, how far in advance can those be made too?

I was just going to post this! The chocolate coating keeps the cake moist I think, so I'm curious too

I just had DS's party yesterday. The chocolate cars we made last weekend. I started making the chocolate covered oreos starting on Wed as well as the oreo truffles. I saved the chocolate covered pretzels, cookies and cupcakes the day before and did the marshmallows the morning of the party.

I've been told up to a week in advance. For DS' party, I did them the day before.

I was told you can make the the cake pops about 2 weeks in advance and then freeze them. Just dont dip them in chocolate till the day before

Actually this is a very good point - you can totally do this. I always forget about this option.

My DS christening was a sunday and I made them thurs night and then dipped them in chocolate on Friday. They were fine. I am sure you cam make them more in advance than what I did.
