Spinoff: Do you have family photos of your great grandparents or further back?

I only have a few pics of my dad's family in when they lived on a small island called Sansego (Susak)

i think we have a picture of my great grandmother - grandma's mother. my mother looks so much like her.

Wow! What a tiny waist! Do you think she was wearing a corset? All the old pics are at my mom's house. I should start scanning them

I have a few of my paternal grandmother but none of my maternal grandmother. My mom only has 1 displayed of her parents.
I have nothing of my grandfathers.

Very few, but yes. They are priceless to me.

I have some scanned. But there are two with my great-great-grandparents that are still on the wall.

my great grandfather (the youngest) with a brother & sister..

And DH's grandfather gave me all of his wife's pictures...and there are sooo many old ones..

My mom has photos of me with my great grandfathers. I knew both my maternal and paternal great-grandfathers. Both of my great-grandmothers passed away before I was born. I am named after one of my great-grandmothers. My grandma has photos that survived WWII of her family.

My great grandfather passed away when I was 4. I remember him vividly and have many pictures. My great grandmother passed away when I was 24. I am so lucky to have them in my life. I have pictures of my great great grandparents on my mothers side.

My mom does for her side, but none of my dad's side. My great grandfather was a us congressman so there is stuff on him in wikipedia.

I have pictures of my great-grandparents. My grandmother may have pictures further back. I should ask her.

Yes I have pics of my great grandparents from both sides. I even have some sort of video of my great grandfather from maybe 1930ish??? I have no idea what kind of film it was shot on but someone have the films converted to VHS years ago

My great grandmother is still alive (she's 102) so I have recent pictures of her. She and my grandfather have all of the pictures of our family. I looked through the pictures when I went to visit over the summer and they go back several generations.

My parents do. I knew my mother's maternal grandparents. Her father wasn't in touch with his family, so none of us knew them & we don't have any pictures.

I also knew my father's maternal grandmother & her sister. My parents have pictures of me with them. I didn't know his grandfather, but I think he has pictures.

My father knew his paternal grandparents. I didn't , but I think he has pictures.

I don't think either parents has further back than their own grandparents b/c they were never in this country & photography was in its early stages when the family emigrated.

On my father's side, my grandmother had a good number of photos of her grandparents and parents, as well as my grandfather's parents. I have to scan them one of these days...

Yes, my Aunt has them. I haven't seen them in years. It's a little weird seeing your ancestors wearing CSA uniforms.

Yesterday we celebrated my great grandma's 100th bday and we all go a DVD with lots of old pictures from when she was a little girl to when my grandfather was younger. I know my grandma in FL has a lot of older pictures that I hope to inherate I love looking at old photos and I think its a great thing to pass down.
