Re: spinoff from child's bedtime, how much free time do YOU get?

Usually about 3... DS goes to be about 8ish, and I never stau up past 11 anymore...since I need to wake up to 'make sure' DH gets up for work at 3am. But, DH goes to be about 9ish LOL....so I usually just clean up the mess from dinner and play on the computer. I want to get back into working out then too...but too much has been going on. I'm hoping to start that up again...
I have to make sure DH gets up too, every day 3:45am. He doesn't hear the alarm, ever!

Re: spinoff from child's bedtime, how much free time do YOU get?
ugh i get none DD goes to bed around 7-8pm then I go right to the computer to do work from home. I do medical billing so it allows me to work any hours I want. Unfortunately those hours are after DD goes to bed. DH sits on the couch behind me and we'll converse that way
i'm exhausted by the end of the day!!

usually about 3 hours. DS goes down at 7:30pm and i usually head to bed at about 10:30ish. DH and i are usually in the same room but not doing things together. i'm usually on the computer or cleaning and hes usually playing video games or watching one of his DIY shows . our quality time is snuggling in bed for 5 minutes before we dose off.

Re: spinoff from child's bedtime, how much free time do YOU get?
My DD is in bed at 8pm and falls right asleep. We go to bed between 11:30 and midnight so we get about 3 1/2 to 4hrs to ourselves.

Logan's in bed between 8-9. I don't sleep well, so I'm usually up really late.

Re: spinoff from child's bedtime, how much free time do YOU get?
My daughter falls asleep around 9 and since I have to be up so early (5:30) sometimes I fall asleep with her. I do have an hour between when I get home and when I have to pick her up from nursery school to work out. My husband and i have been trying to eat dinner together and spend at least an hour talking--not watching TV, computer etc. for the past couple of weeks. It has been making a big difference in our relationship. So all in all, not too much me time, but that's what comes with the territory, I suppose.

Re: spinoff from child's bedtime, how much free time do YOU get?
None, when DS goes to bed, I get to work. I have a business out of the house doing visual simulations; I work on pop on LIF while opening/saving my work so I do get little spurts of my time

Re: spinoff from child's bedtime, how much free time do YOU get?
I get 2 hours to myself while they are both at school and then I have about 2 hours to myself between when they go to bed and DH gets home. Nights like tonight where DH has a work event it's even longer.
