I heard the news about time warner... I'd be pizzed...... not over nic and noggin, but over comedy central! I actually would likely protest and go to verizon fios...

how has NOBODY on this thread mentioned the fact that is affects MTV?????????? Still, at 37, my favorite channel - I would seriously die if I couldn't watch the Hills!!!!!!!! The sad part is I"m not kidding...
I think the original comment where the "drama" started was simply a joke...she wasn't implying that no one should be annoyed that these channels may not be on the air, just a joke (like the one I wrote on top). Certainly not meant to offend anyone...
I know my daughter would die without Noggin...sad, but true.

I'm not into mtv anymore  but I would literally have withdrawl symptoms if comedy central were cut from my TV diet  I hear you though... I have empathy for time warner customers if they really ARE such cheap b@stards that they cut all of these popular channels

Finally some sense of reason. ( and sarcasm
People are so huffy these days and ready to READ into things. I laughed at Summers remarks. I LOVE noggin, LOVE it and would cry my eyes out if went off the air, but I dont think Summer was attacking me for not taking my kid outside instead...she was making a joke.
But I agree, no MTV means NO HILLS 
No VH-1 means I have no train wreck reality show to make me feel better baout my own life...WHERE can I protest?

Makes me greatful that we only do PBS channel here - unless they mess with that, too! Either way, the one hour a day can be filled with something else, I guess.

Now that I just read up on it...I AM pizzed. I'm pizzed that Viacom doesn't give a CRAP about US, the people who actually watch these programs...and don't care that we have to pay more for them to be on cable. Don't they make enough money from their 'sponsors'? or advertisers, whatever.
ETS: And, I'm pizzed that now I won't have south park

And, furthermore...if they are going to want more money from US, their customers...then the networks shouldn't put so many damned commericals on. Isn't that supposed to be the reason you pay for cable?????

See, now that aggrivates me b/c I know you on a personal level. It disgusts me that their profit is "not enough". Well, what about the thousands of people they affect with lay-offs, who now don't have enough to survive
