Spinoff on pacifiers - question about paci sizes
So, pacifiers are labeled according to age, right. Does this have to do with the size of the baby's moth or a developmental thing?
DS and DD are 3.5 months, but are only about 8.5 lbs each - so do I switch up to the 3-6mth size or keep using the 0-3 mth size?

Re: Spinoff on pacifiers - question about paci sizes
I know my DS does not like the harder 3-6 month pacifiers. He spits them out. So we continue to give him the 0-3 month ones. He will be 6 months old next week.
edited bc I messed up the dash symbol twice.

Re: Spinoff on pacifiers - question about paci sizes
i don't think they go by size, i think they go by hardness - so that older babies won't chew thru pacis as they start teething and gumming everything in sight.
DS never liked the "harder" pacis even when he got older. as long as you keep an eye on them and toss them if they look worn or torn, they'll be fine using the 0-3 month pacis for as long as you want.

Still on newborns at a year (she'll use the ones for older babies, but clearly prefers the newborns)
