Spinoff question to early sunday morning birthday party and church issue
We aren't church goers and booked DS' 2nd birthday at a place that only does private parties from 10am-12pm. Looking back I should have chosen Saturday but I didn't- I chose Sunday.
I know most of the parents well enough to know that they don't go to church either but here's my question-
If you usually go to church Sunday morning would you forgo it for a bday party? Or maybe go to a different time service that weekend? Or do you think I should expect some nos b/c of people going to church? that I didn't consider this. I was so concerned with the fact that a 10am party is so freaking early that's the only thing I picked my friends' brains about. To try and lessen the blow we are going to have coffee and donuts set up for as soon as people get there.

I would just go to Mass at a different time that weekend. We go to church nearly every weekend, and we absolutely don't have a "specific" Mass we go to. We just make it work around each weekend's schedule.
