Spinoff to all the smoking posts from last week...
I am proud to say that my mother has FINALLY quit-she quit over a week ago, and I really think the new commercials had something to do with it.
ESPCIALLY the one w/the little boy. Flame away, but if that commercial made my mother quit, it can for others, and it makes me so happy.
Yay! Now, getting to work on dad....

Congrats.
It was the commercial of the woman getting a tube stuck down her throat and the pics of the diseased lungs that did it for DH.
He's been smoke free since January.

Not that I know what commercials you are talking about, but hey if something made her quit, more power to her!
My DH has also quit too. It has been about 2 weeks now. He did have about 3 or 4 while vacationing last weekend, but hey I will take it!!
I hope this is it for him!

Great news!
My dad quit first but my mom wouldn't. It finally took a heart attack and me threatening her that she wouldn't be able to go near her future grandchild if she continued to smoke.
That did it for her. Hopefully your dad won't need such drama.
