Spinoff to baby items: those with sensitive skin:

So we were recommended by the peditrician to use Aveeno Sensitive Fragrance Free (because DS broke out in a rash with Johnson & Johnson stuff).

The peditrician said when he's older, he can handle that stuff.

My question is, when did your sensitive skin newborn be able to handle the fragrance baby products? (ie lotion, shampoos, etc).

Just curious since I have a ton of products from my shower. Thanks!

You know, I still don't use them and DS is 15 months. I use the scented washes to clean his tub and tub toys, and his hands at the sink. They just smell too perfumey to me, but it's a personal choice.

I'm not sure at what age they can handle this, maybe after a year?

I just recently (DD is 20 months) introduced a scented detergent and she broke out in a rash. I find the same thing happens when using fragrant products. Chat Icon
