spinoff to bfing moms/eating

How do i identify what i might have eaten that is bothering ds? If he is really gassy/uncomfortable today, is it likely something I ate yesterday? Or the day before that? How long does it take to "process"?

Thanks!

its usually something you ate that day or could be the day before. But check back to what you ate today.

Some things that will make baby gassy are:

brocolli, spinach (any leafy greens)
garlic
peanut butter
chocolate
some dairy products

I'm not sure how long it takes, but maybe try to think back when you had something gassy. It might not be gassy to you but it might be to the baby. I've been trying to stay away from avocado, cabagge, onions, beans ect.
