Spinoff to "If Your Walls Could Talk"

Well after that great post the other day by BnBDreamin, I had taken some pics of our pool deck and I also took pics of what was left under the deck from the previous owners.
This is how pig-ish these people where and now we are still cleaning up their mess. This is something we will do this summer. We have to take down all the lattese (sp) so we can get underneath to clean it out. Believe me, I will be cleaning that from afar. It's gross under there.

All the mess is under the decking to the right of this picture. The pool is on the other side of the deck.


What is under there: beer bottles & cans, soda cans, plastic cups, toys, tupperware, siding, plastic wrapping from papertowels, half of a pool life saver ring and a plastic tool box. I'm sure there is more, but that is all that I can tell from looking under there.

I don't have pictures with me at work, but the previous owners of our condo were animals!! The entire place smelled like pee pee and we had to bleach the place. They were also heavy smokers.....the walls were yellow, and we were able to see where they hung pictures, etc.
Also, the attic was filled with empty boxes of toys, electronics, etc.
No wonder why they couldn't afford the mortgage because of all the junk they bought!

But...us psychos saw through all that and bought the place and now it's pee pee free!

Oh maybe your previous owners and our previous owners were related. They let there animals pee pee anywhere it seemed. We had to take up carpet and put in all new hardwoods because of them. Just gross!

We were psychos too for seeing past all of this and the smell. I still kick myself some days.

That is gross! The Barbie is the kicker! Don't you love people?

We are getting back into our Boca home after renting it for about 5 years and we should take pics of the damage that our tenants left us. Like lipstick on the bathroom door? Mold? Ick!

Ooh Ooh! I have one for this too!

When we had our driveway and walkway done, they took off the facia board at the front step to the porch. The gross guy who lived in the house while it was in short sale was a chain smoker and must have sat there all day and used the porch crack as his ashtray! I took this pic after they had cleaned some away!

Believe me everyone, I wish I knew how they lived like this. Can I just say, our neighbors love us. New people stop by sometimes and say what a great job and thank you for buying this house. They even let their 5 yr old girl run around with just a bathing suite on, no shoes in the front yard and down the street. This is something we saw a couple of times, while in the process of buying this house. They are just White Trash....no nice way to put it.

Actually no! Aside from the cigarette butts and brief dog smell our house was pretty good with the dirty factor. The couple who owned the house were renovating, ran out of money and love so went into short sale. The guy was anal about the refinished floors. The walls were all white washed (some areas were painted over wallpaper where you can see the seams but minor to fix as I go). Most of the windows were new and a few had no trim [apparently replaced because they fought a lot and he broke most of the window]. I found broken glass around the house all Spring and Summer as I planted gardens.

They kept two or three American Bull dogs in the garage and apparently let them in on the lower [unfinished floor] level a few winter nights before closing. But a little shop vac and we did a lot of renovation to that space so it's all gone. The garage was good with a shop vac and good cleaning. It wasn't dirtbag dog smell, it was normal three big dogs smell so it wasn't bad. What I could have done without was picking up about 75 pounds of dog cr@p that wasn't from my dogs!!!

Our neighbors love us and compliment us too! And say they are so glad we bought the house! Isn't that the best part!?
