I just remembered a time I went in for a criminal rape case - the girl was 14, the guy 16, and he was being charged with statutory rape. They said if anyone would have a problem convicting b/c the sex was consensual, raise your hand. Almost everyone did, and we were excused. The kids had been dating.

I was a jurror on a murder trial in Queens last fall. It went on for 5 weeks.

My DH has been called every year. Me? Not once. And I am a Law and Order groupie so I WANT to be called.
I know, I know, I am a whacko
I felt this way too, I wanted to serve on jury duty for so long but the trial I was on was so depressing.
