Spinoff to Mothers Instinct - another gender related post
Did you "carry" stereotypically for the gender baby you had or know you're having?
Everyone told me I was all boy with my first and sure enough it was a boy. This time I'm carrying the same way and everyone says it's gotta ge a boy again. We're staying team green but I can't help think boy again too because of the stereotype. How did everyone else's work out?

Well yes and no
My 1st Pg, I was def carrying like a girl. I got really wide all over and my face changed. I had a girl
My 2nd PG was carrying all in front. Everyone swore it was a boy. It was a another girl
My 3rd PG. Carried all in front. My face and hips looked thinner??? Idk how . It was a boy. Finally lol

No. Every single person said boy 1st pregnancy. Deep down I knew they were wrong and it was a girl. I was right. I'm carrying the same this pregnancy. It's all bs. It's your body type and every pregnancy can be diff. I don't put too much stock in old wives tales (although the heartbeat one was true for me).

I'm carrying like a boy but all of the sonograms so far say it's a girl. We'll see what happens in 9 weeks!!

I carried the same for all three pregnancies, all in the front and all belly! I had a boy and two girls. Everyone thought BOY for each pregnancy before I found the sex of each.

I don't know about the way I'm carrying but this pregnancy has been quite different than my last and I am having my 2nd girl.

I'm so short waisted I can't really carry low or high. But my MIL had 3 sons and all 3 pregnancy she carried entirely different.

Yeah, with my first one. Almost everybody thought I was having a girl because of the way I was carrying, wide hips spread belly instead of pointy, chubby face, etc. even after we found out we were having a boy at my anatomy sono, ppl still kept telling me I was having a girl, but no, they were wrong. Same thing with this second pregnancy, but this time I'm actually having a girl.

This is what leads me to believe that our bodies kind of carry weight during pregnancy specific to our own bodies and it's not really the baby making it that way. we'll see! clearly I'm wildly curious for someone who wants to be team  haha

I'm team green and everyone says I'm carrying stereotypical for a boy. But, my grandma swears I'm having a girl because she carried the same way with all 3 girls. My sister has 3 girls and she carried differently for all 3 pregnancies. My mom, who had 2 girls, carried just like I am too. Honestly, if it is a boy none of us will know what to do! I'll let you know in 3 weeks!

I'm getting a mixed bag but I think most people are saying boy. I'm carrying all in front. I'm HUGE, but its all belly. There are definitely some people who are adamant that its a girl though. We'll see soon. I'm due on Sunday

I carried completely differently for both pregnancies... First I was wide everywhere -- girl.
Second I thought for sure it was a boy -- we found out it was a girl .... everyone kept telling me that I was having a boy, and the tech must have been wrong. It was a girl :)

I've carried both boy pregnancies exactly the same. Occasionally someone who sees me guess girl, but most people guess boy.
