Spinoff to newlyweds with baby thoughts - any thoughts on names?
hi newlyweds!
i just saw the post on newlyweds thinking about babies
so, i thought - any thoughts on names of those babies?
i was thinking:
James Anthony
Joseph Edward
(named after both mine and DH's father and grandfathers)
Isabella
Annabelle
Giovanna
(don't have middle names yet)

DH will say NO to all.. 
Isla or Jada or J'lynn
DH will only like Isla.. (He picke it out)

and i love love love the name MIchael - almost every male in my family is named Michael - i wish i could use it!
and my best friend just named her baby Madison - how pretty!

Well, my nanes are all secret. DH doesn't even know, I just told him if we have a girl, he gets no choice in names Yeah he wasn't too keen on that!!!
For I like names w/2 letter initials. My fave is Jason Patric (JP) (yes the actor's name... I love his name! ). I've always had a header time w/boys names than girls.

This is a hard topic for us. I had always loved:
Jayden, Gavin, & Chole (DH said no to all but Chole)
Oliva & Ava (DH said no to both but we agreed on Madison)
DH is born & raised in West Africa. His name is Michael but he has an African middle name & we have a very African last name. I would be happy to give our children African middle names like he has. DH has been reluctant. He never uses his middle name on anything & hates it.
DH has dreamed of naming his first son Mickel Christopher. I don't love it but oh well he told me in one of the first conversations we ever had.

Dh and I talk about this all the time, even though we are just still ttc. I have such a hard time with names, I like them one minute hate them the next. Here is a few we kicked around.

All such pretty names! DH gets annoyed with baby talk, especially when I start bugging him about names! Everyone around us is having babies and I've already lost 1 name to his cousin! LOL...
My fav girl name was/is Emma Marie, which I know is kind of common these days. It was after my grandmothers. Unfortunately, my father passed away and I would like to name my child after him or at least use the "m" initial. His name was Michael. DH wasn't crazy about using Michael b/c he has several family members with that name, but I think I talked him into Michael Joseph, after both our fathers (his dad is still alive). For a girl I like Madison, Madelyn (taken by his cousin), Mia, Megan, Melanie, and several other "M" names but not sure about middle names yet. DH doesn't like Madison, but likes Maria which I'm not crazy about!
We'll have to figure this out sooner or later!!

We were actually just talking about this!
DH wants to stay away from the Italian Names (His is vincenzo guiseppi) so we have come up with:
Dean Matthew, Devin James,
Kayla Leigh , Kaileigh Marie, Jinnie Marie, Savannah Jane
Dont know how we came up with them but we did.

Dh would love to name a boy after him and his father which would be Joseph James. I am absolutely not going to have two Joseph's in the house so I told him that I would compromise with James Joseph. But I really don't like either name.
