Spinoff to Series Finale' - What is your favorite?
What is your favorite series finale of all time?
For me, it's Six Feet Under.
Hands.Down!!
I have never seen anything so beautifully written and portrayed on the scene before. And when I watch it on You Tube or catch it on HBO I still cry like a baby.
With each character, no matter how or when they died you had a peaceful closure if that makes any sense....

I cried... DH and I also broke up recently so that made it worse. Obviously, months later we got back together and it worked out.

I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I LOVED the series finale of Lost... all of them in the church waiting for Jack makes me cry every single time.

Without a doubt -- Six Feet Under.
Best series finale ever of a show. It was the only time I truly felt like a show gave it's audience a proper ending with closure. No one comes close.

Before I even opened the thread, I knew I was going to say Six Feet Under. It was perfect in every way. And that song is still a favorite of mine.
ETA: Lost was okay, too. I just... didn't want it to end that way. No matter what they did though, someone was going to be unhappy. It was a touching ending though.

LOST ended AWESOMELY ... I know most disagree though.
I HATED Seinfeld's finale. Blahhh.
This dates me but... I loved loved loved how Dawson's Creek ended. I was so hoping that Joey and Pacey would ended up together and I loved how Dawson got the call from Spielberg at the end and Pacey and Joey look at one another and go "SPIELBERG!?"

Right? I'm watching My So Called Life via Netflix right now. I just don't understand how they could let this show go? I did hear they wanted to save it but Claire Danes gave them crap about it -- they should've just paid her waht she wanted or something.

I also thought the finale of tudors was very well done.
hbo/showtime do a great job
Im dying to see how dexter will end...

Six Feet Under was definitely well done. So was SATC.
I remember liking the way Friends ended but I can't remember how it ended. LOL
I did not like how Sopranos ended. I hate not having closure.

I liked the whole series. It definitely took bizarre turns and points, but overall it was an amazing show.

ITA! I still haven't forgotten every detail. Breath Me by Sia was perfect- and that montage- I get chills just thinking about it.

I remember waking up to my parents screaming at the finale of St. Elswhere.
Apparently the whole show was based on the imagination of a kid looking through a snow globe.
They were soooo pi$$ed
