Spinoff to Similac PostHow do you know when to switch
My DD has been on Similac advance since birth and has been doing well with it to this day.
Now she passes a lot of gas but DOES Pass it so for the most part she is not uncomfortable.
Of corse she has ffussy times which are due to gas, but the do not last too long and most of the time its when she doesnt poop. Normally she goes 1-2 times per day.
I do think she has a little reflux, however this has not been confirmed by peds yet. Does that warrant a formula change?
OTherwise she is tolerating formula great....good weight gain and everything.

We had the same issues with our daughter she is now on Similac Sensitive and doing great less fussy and gassy!! She is on RTF

How old is DD?
I would talk to ped but I don't think so. I think most changes come from spit-ups or "code brown issues".

We switched due to spit up issues. Sure my DD has gas and is fussy but the main reason is spit up.

We switched to Similac Sensitive RS ultimately because of an INSANE amount of spit up and pain due to DS's acid reflux.... Good luck!

I switched formula when DD was diagnosed with reflux. She was spitting up alot and started rejecting the bottle. She was also constipated on Similac Advance. We are now on Alimentum.
