Spinoff to sleeping with the windows open: a vent
We've been soooo looking forward to shutting off the air and opening up the windows. BUT-- our neighbors directly next door (and the houses are close together) has a fire out in the backyard EVERY night. It's soooo annoying-- the smell gets in our house, on the sofas, on our towels, etc. So now I can't even have our windows open anymore 
Vent over!

that stinks
I have 2 bus routes that go by my house
awesome for getting to work
not awesome for sleeping
no windows open for me either
