Spinoff to table food...question
Can you start giving baby mum mums and puffs when they dont have any teeth? DS is teething so bad but no teeth have cut yet. But when we eat he watches us so intently and if I hold him in my lap and bring food to my mouth he opens his mouth thinking its for him . You think its okay to try? All hes had so far is formula and stage 1 and 2 foods.
eta: DS is 6.5 months

Lola's 2 bottom ones have just come up and she's been doing just fine with puffs. They disolve so quickly that they really don't need teeth to "chew" them.
eta - she just turned 6 months
also....it's your child, it's what YOU feel comfortable giving them, everyone's different

DS didn't have any teeth until he was 8 or 9 months and he was eating table food at 8 months. We gave him puffs and mum-mums I think at 7 months...he did fine. The puffs and mum mums dissolve, they don't need to bite them. Give them a shot!
