i am curious about this as well

do the little girls wrestle and jump on each other as much as my boys do?

I think sometime's more. When my older DD has a few friends over they are the rowdiest bunch of girls i have seen.

Well I think it depends on the girls- but that is said for anything - but both my girls are/were big climbers. You turn your back and DD#2 would be standing on a chair when she was only 9 or 10 months. They both yell, tackle not so much - but I have seen some of DD's friends tackling their siblings. They are always running around. My girls are just as likely to play dinosaur and chase each other around as they are to sit and play with dolls and dress up.

YES

AJ's bathtime yesterday was her jumping like a loon from one side of the hosue to the other.

She likes to yell as loud as she can with a HUGE grin to see how loud she can get and for how long. I think she's testing to see if we'll stop her Chat Icon

chase & run goes without saying (poor cats)

tackle.. she's a rough house kinda gal. Oh yeah. I won't get into how embarassing it was to go to work with a fat lip cause my kid hit me in the lip with her elbow.

Do you little girls play chase, run, jump, yell loud, and tackle each other?

hug:

Chat Icon mine do. they are LOUD, wild and crazy. they love to climb and jump to see who can jump the furthest. They tackle each other and wrestle. They chase each other all over. They will spin themselves around and around and around and around and try to bump into each other and knock each other down.
I have a hill in my backyard and they put themselves in the wagon on top of the hill and roll down as fast as they can. Most parents would think I'm crazy but I'm laid back and I know they are having fun. I was NOT like this as a child and either was my first DD. I blame this all on my Dh's side.

They are like little boys, they even play with trucks too. I have about 50 match box cars. lol

They also play with their dolls and love playing dress up etc. they had their first manicure together this weekend and they were dying over it!

I guess in a sense I have the best of both worlds. lol

eta: My middle one's tooth is chipped bc of them bumping into eachother while they were horse playing. Chat Icon

Are girls this way? Obviously I only know boys, and my family is 90% boys so I don't have anything to compare it to.

Do you little girls play chase, run, jump, yell loud, and tackle each other?

This is something I'm very curious about. I wasn't sure if it was the age, or the fact that they are boys. Chat Icon

OMG YES! Our girls are nuts Chat Icon I call T monkey and F little monkey. They climb on everything, are constantly moving and are always loud lol. I feel its more the age than the gender (kwim?)
I get annoyed when people make generalizations about how girls and boys behave bc I just do not see it. Even with my siblings it did not hold true.

My DD is way more active then my DS was at the same age. I can totally see her tackling, wrestling and keeping her own with her big brothers and cousins (she's the only girl in the family)

DD#1 was always quiet, calm, easy. Much happier to sit and color or read than run around. We never had to babyproof with her because she always listened to us.

DD#2 is my wild child. Climbed in and out of her crib very young, and in general is non stop. She climbs, tackles, runs, jumps and yells constantly. She wears only dresses and dresses up like a princess daily, but loves to play rough with the boys.

DD is def very very girly...she climbs but is not very very rough and tumble she is very very very "girly" and would rather play with her tea set in her princess dress and heels (not joking)Chat Icon Yah will she run around like a lunatic at times, hell yah, but def not as much as I see my friends that have boys do

yep. at least mine are. they are girly and feminine, but they run everywhere, tackle each other sometimes, my older one is the yeller/screamer since she was less than 3 months, and they are both insane climbers. they climb anything and everything--and they're really good at it.
