It's NOT first come first serve, because you are not paying for SEAT.
But that's exactly WHY it's first come first serve because you are NOT guaranteed anything but entrance onto the bus. SO she got there first, got the two seats for her and her other "passenger" who did pay to ride. It was a really shittttttttttty thing she did, but I still think she was in the clear.

my dh says fcfs....
but to make a human being stand while your bag gets a seat...seems wacky to me.
if someone pays for 2 seats because they want to spread out...is that okay?
Yes it is. They paid for the extra seat. Were you going to refund the passenger's money?

You are paying for entrance onto the bus.
Her luggage could have entered with her, without paying extra. Her luggage is not a customer. She is a customer who paid too much to ride an express bus. By her logic, since you didn't have a seat, you shoudn't have paid.
If it was a movie theatre, that would be different, b/c the # of tickets corresponds to the number of seats. There is no standing room in the theater.

Am I the only one here who thinks this luggage lade is FOS? I can't see someone paying an extra fare for the luggage. I think she is lying.
But if in fact she is crazy or the bag holds a million dollars and she is afraid to keep it away from her, then sorry Janice but I side with DH. FCFS

She paid 2 seats... you cant do squat about it... I was just on a plane riding on standby with a few others... One of the others didnt get on the plane I got on and there were aabout 3 empty seats behind me... Those empty seats were paid for by the people sitting next to em... an extra seat to have the extra room... Fcuked up yes, but they can do that...
