I really don't think most people have ever even heard our song. It's "I Could Write a Book" written by Rodgers and Hart (and originally from the Broadway show Pal Joey). We danced to the Frank Sinatra version; some may know it from the Harry Connick version (was it instrumental only?) in When Harry Met Sally. We were close friends before we started dating...

Ous was "When the Stars Go Blue" by Ryan Adams. Pretty uncommon, we loved it.
I went to a wedding this weekend and their song was "All I Need" by Radiohead. Pretty amazing.

Ooh, I first heard this song a couple of years ago and thought it was the most romantic thing I'd ever heard. I listened to it 3 times in a row!
Our wedding song was the Divine Comedy's "Perfect Love Song." DH has the most amazing CD collection and when we were first dating, he'd try to impress me by bringing me CDs to borrow. The Divine Comedy was one of the first CDs he brought me, and I remember thinking that if it ever worked out with this guy, "Perfect Love Song" would be a great wedding song.

Our song was "You Make me Feel Brand new" by Simply Red.
It was a remake from the Stylistics.
You do not hear that too often. As a matter of fact my husbands aunt said it was her song and they were married like 30 something years.

Our actual song wasn't very popular but it was 'acceptable.'
But our entrance song was Korn - Blind. 
Had some people scratching their heads, but hey that's what we like and that was our compromise.

Come What May from Moulin Rouge soundtrack.... unless you've seen the movie, you've never heard it so I think it's pretty unique.
DH and I picked it for it meaning- that no matter what happens we will love each other.

I thought our wedding song was pretty uncommon (though maybe in the early 80's it wasn't?? )
DH has always been all about music. I had never heard the song when I met him but I think he put it on a mix tape for me and I loved it. I remember thinking right then (and we were probably dating less then a year) that if we ever got married, that would be the perfect song for us - right down to the last lines.

I've never heard anyone else use our song, nor have I seen anyone post it on here or LIW when these type threads come up.
My One & Only Love, the Sting version from Leaving Las Vegas. It was originally done by Frank Sinatra, but also by John Coltrane, Dean Martin, Ella Fitzgerald, Chris Botti....
