Mine isnt uncommon or unique, its a pretty well known song... but i dont know anyone else personally that used it... there were 2 other people on the other thread that list it as theirs... and when i was planning my wedding on LIW i dont remember anyone else using that song....
it wasnt a song we just randomly picked, it actually was one of "our" songs...

Tiny Dancer by Elton John. I especially liked it because we got married on the beach and there is a lyric about dancing on the sand.

Calico Skies by Paul McCartney. We had never even heard of the song until like a week before our wedding! It was crunch time and we couldn't agree, but I found it during our search and we were both instantly sold! I was able to get "for the rest of my life..." engraved in my husband's ring as well.

Ours was Everything by Lifehouse. I've never heard it on the radio, so I doubt a lot of people have heard it. Most people at our wedding hadn't heard it before.

I think we did - Shameless by Garth Brooks. It was always "our" song, and fit perfectly as a wedding song. It's not even the original, Billy Joel wrote it, but we like the country version better.

Fields of Gold, the Sting song, sung by Eva Cassidy.
I think that's pretty unique... I've never heard of anyone using the song when it was sung by Sting, let alone Eva 
Ours was Fields of Gold but Sting's rendition. 1993 was the year I started dating my husband and the lyric "See the children run as the sun goes down" makes me reflect on one of the only happy childhood memories I have. I knew I wanted to build a family with him even then and wanted them to have the childhood I didn't get. So far, so good!
Our cruddy DJ announced the song as "Fields of Dreams"

I think ours was pretty unique. It was: That's How Strong My Love Is by Otis Redding. Apparently, it was pretty sexy too because we had some people (incl. my mom  ) who yelled out "get a room" as we were dancing to it.
That's a great song, but I love me some Otis.
