Re: Spinoff to Yeahbaby's post: OMG! For those that are so lucky . . .
I gained 2.5 lbs, and 8 days later I had to buy new jeans in a smaller size. I bf'ed (Pumped) and ate chocolate like it was going out of style, kit kats were my poison. However, once I stopped bf'ing...the pounds piled on again!

Re: Spinoff to Yeahbaby's post: OMG! For those that are so lucky . . .
I gained 25 lbs during my pregnancy. I did breastfeed, but only for about 10 days.
I was fortunate enough that the weight just kind of fell off of me and within 3-4 weeks, i was back to my normal weight.
No tricks. Just good genes i guess.

Yup same here. I lost all the weight, but my body shape was/is different. The weight shifted a bit.

Re: Spinoff to Yeahbaby's post: OMG! For those that are so lucky . . .
First pregnancy, I gained 50 pounds. I lost it all in about 3 months afterwards. I had a personal trainer and worked out like a freak. I also hardly ate.
Second pregnancy, I gained 35 pounds. I lost it all in about 5 months. Didn't really work out much, if at all. I changed my diet and just ate less.
No BF for either pregnancy.
To lose it quick, I would say that you have to stick to a diet and do cardio.

Re: Spinoff to Yeahbaby's post: OMG! For those that are so lucky . . .
I gained 35 pounds with DS. Lost all but 8 within the first few weeks PP.
Those last 8 were stubborn. I must admit I did not exercise at all, except for walking. But I swear the pounds starting coming off when I starting drinking green tea. I had about 2 cups a day and lost the last 8 by 4 months PP. Now, 15 months later I weigh 4 pounds less than I did before I had DS.
However, the stomach looks and feels "looser" due to the pregnancy/c-section- need to work on that! But all of my clothes fit.
ETA: I am 36 years old, and I did not BF, only pumped for about 3 weeks after he was born.

I gained over 50 pounds and have just lost it all 5 months later! WW has helped tremendously. I only BF for 3 weeks.

gained 35, lost almost all within 2-3 months, didn't really do anything. It just came off. I was underweight before I got pregnant so when I started losing weight again, I did everything to maintain some, so now I am 5 lbs more than what I was before pregnancy, but this is my goal weight Oh and I bf for 7 mos.

Re: Spinoff to Yeahbaby's post: OMG! For those that are so lucky . . .
I gained 36 lbs. Had a 9 lb 3 oz baby Lost 20 before leaving the hospital and then another 6 within a week. The pesky last 8-10 lbs were heck to take off. I did weight watchers and walked. I'm not that big into working out. I now weigh less than I did before I got PG.
ETA: I did not BF

Re: Spinoff to Yeahbaby's post: OMG! For those that are so lucky . . .
With DD I gained 42 lbs; lost 30 by 2 wks PP & then couldn't lose last 12lbs. Then I totally gave up & gained an additional 20 lbs when I got pregnant again.
With DS I gained 32lbs & I'm at 13 days PP & lost 23 lbs.
I'm EBF.

Re: Spinoff to Yeahbaby's post: OMG! For those that are so lucky . . .
I don't know why, but I think having a c-section led to a very quick weight loss for me. I gained 22 lbs. during pregnancy, and when I got home 2 days after DD was born I had lost 45 lbs. Once I got home, that weight started to creep back on.
DH and I just started WW about a month ago, and now I'm lighter than I have been in at least 5 years!
