spinoff: toddler and road trips

if your toddler sleeps in the car while you drive far and away, are they comfy to sleep all night?

I can't imagine DS is, his head sort of leans to one side he looks so scrunched up and he wakes up angry when he falls asleep in the car this way.

Is there a neck pillow or something you can give them?

Funny you should ask bc I am taking my boys on a 400+ road trip in 2.5 weeks. I wanted to get something for JJ bc he is always leaning forward in the carseat & I can't imagine him sleeping the entire trip (we are leaving when he goes to bed) like that. I found a pillow on One Step Ahead but it was for kids in boosters (resembled a body pillow that goes by the seatbelt). Those neck pillows they sell that go around your neck do not work & DS refuses to use them.

So I got some fabric from Walmart & pillow fill & I am in the proces of making a mini body pillow that will work in the converitble seat for forward facing & rear facing
