Spitting up question
Luka use to spit up when I breasfeed then when I switched to formula he spit up a lot less. Now all of a sudden he is spitting up a lot again after almost every feeding. All I do is move him to put him upright so I can burp him and he spits up. He is on Isomil, what do you think this is from. On the other hand he is going to the bathroom almost everyday now as opposed to every few days.

Re: Spitting up question
my daughter never spit up in the beginning (she gets BM) and about a month ago started spitting up. Now she spits up often. Sometimes large amounts come out, and other times just a little bit oozes out. I asked the doctor about it and she said that all babies spit up and it is usually much less than it looks like, or less than we think. The doctor said that unless it is "projectile" (like it is shooting across the room), not to worry about it.

Re: Spitting up question
All I can say is what I exp. w/ Ryan...
In the beg. he was Bf and didnt spit up- @ 2 months I switched to formula- and didnt spit up.....then around 3/4 months he began spitting up- no pain or anything- but he would make me do alot of laundry-
I kept bringing him to the DR and they kept reassuring me that it was not AR- and that some babies just spit up...
You could search through some of my old spit up posts.... alot of people had some great suggestions...
I burped every oz.- feed on in incline- tried to keep him from bouncing around after he ate.... tried to put him on an incline after he ate, etc.... While it never stopped the problem... it sometimes reduced the spit up...
There was no rhyme or reason to when he'd spit up- or how much- but it never seemed to phase Ryan...
The DR swore by 6 months he'd grow out of it... and POOF @ 6 months- it just stopped!

ETA- My dr. use to say " Your problem is not a medical one, it just a laundry problem..."
If your child is still gaining, and is not showing discomfort when eating.... than Id say dont worry about it!
