Last week I was driving to work and glanced in my mirror expecting as I often do to see DD while I'm driving. I almost had a heart attack when I saw her car seat was empty and thought to myself "how did DH let me leave without DD?" I turned around to go home when I realized "DOH... I already dropped her off at daycare!"

Done the Dr. Browns thing a number of times.
I left a pot full of water heating on the stove after I took the bottle out. ALmost burned down the house. Started warming the bottles up in hot water from the sink after that.
My DH put a cereal box in the fridge one morning after pouring himself some cereal.
Good time, good times....

lol...these are great! mine is not as funny...but here it goes, i fell asleep w/my pump on, and pumped for an hr and a half before i woke up....dh told me i could prob cut glass with my nipples

I just remembered another one. Sometimes I was so tired that I would lay DS in my arms to feed him. Well, both he and I would fall asleep while he was drinking. My hand would slip from holding the bottle in his mouth, and I would end up feeding my own arm. I would wake up towards the next feeding/DS stirring to a soaking shirt, then had to make another bottle while he screamed his little head off.

Went to pump the last pump of the day. All of a sudden I was feeling warm liquid all over me. I forgot to put the bottle part onto the shield part. The milk just went threw the shield and right on to me
I did that more than once when I was pumping!

I went to make DS a bottle (he uses Playtex Drop-ins)...and suddenly felt a huge puddle at my feet because i had forgotten to actually put the liner in. My DH just shook his head and laughed.

I put laundry in this morning and didnt realize that i didn't add detergent until it was already in the dryer.

Here's one about DH. He was making DS's Formula when he over filled the bottle and instead of just dumping it in the sink he had the instant reaction to sip the additional that was spilling. ALl of a sudden i hear, gagging, choking, and Literally WRETCHING in the kitchen. I laughed so hard I almost PEED

i think i told this one b4, but its so funny i will tell it again
when i was nursing dd in the beginning, i was SOOO exhausted from this whole new experience, that i realize my son forgot his lunch and was standing in front of the house waiting for the bus..so what do i do? I run out and give it to him of course...
with my ENTIRE Ubangi tribe sized boob hanging OUT of my nursing tank..
uh he was mortified.

In July I started making plans off of a 2010 calendar. People thought I was nuts while I was arguing that the xth was indeed a Thursday & I knew it because I was looking at the calendar
We don't have a washer/dryer so I do laundry at my moms. I took clothes out of the dryer & put them back in the washer & took the half full basket home with the dirty clothes, which I then folded & put away. DH was the one who realized it when he pulled a wet, musty towel out to shower the next morning.
