how many naps and how long? 1 nap 2-2.5 hours

does your dc help dress/undress themselves? If by help you mean scream and carry on when I change her then, yes

how many naps and how long? 2 naps totalling about 3 1/2-4 hours

how many real words? maybe 2 (dada, uh-oh).

does your dc help dress/undress themselves? only getting his head, arms and legs through the clothes.

does your dc use utensils? yup, he thows them.

favorite thing to do: walk everywhere and bop to music!

recent accomplishment: running

issues: eating!!! and a hecktic schedule.

Fun! DS was one on May 6th.

how long does it take your dc to eat meals?
about half an hour

about how much is eaten in a meal? (i.e. 2 mini pancakes, 2 chiken nuggets, etc.)

Breakfast: Yogurt or half an English muffin or 2 scrambled eggs or 2 mini pancakesor waffles. Always with fruit - either half a banana, blueberries, strawberries, or grapes.

Lunch: half grilled cheese or cheese and crackers, leftovers from dinner the night before, and again more fruit or a veggie

Dinner: usually whatever we are having, could be chicken, fish, pasta, chili, and always some vegetable with it. He loves broccoli, cooked carrots, green beans.

favorite food:
It's a toss up between blueberries and broccoli! Weird, I know.

how much milk a day?
Nurses twice a day (am and pm), although this is becoming less and less. And 2 sippy cups of whole milk (maybe 6 oz each)

how many naps and how long?
2 naps, about 2 hours each

how many real words?
5 - mama, dada, ducky, quack quack, uh oh

does your dc help dress/undress themselves?
yes

does your dc use utensils?
If "use" means, hold, bang on highchair, and fling on the floor, then yes. If you mean use properly, then not even close!

favorite thing to do:
Chase the dog around the dining room table and growl at her!

recent accomplishment:
standing independently for about 5 seconds.

issues:
He's not really interested in nursing anymore. It makes me sad. Kind of like the end of an era.

Any of the following: 4 mini waffles, 4 mini pancakes, 3 egg yolk omlette, 1 string cheese, 4-6 mini fishies (fish sticks in fish shapes) 3 tater tots, a whole peach, half banana, unlimited veggie booty (slight addiction)

lately veggie booty, cheese, Dr. Praegers fishies, peaches

how much milk a day?
just started today

how many naps and how long?
2 naps. 8am - 1 hour or more and at 1pm - 1 hour or more

how many real words?
"mama" and "dada". "woofs" for dog. "Nana" for nurse/night night, "uh-oh"

does your dc help dress/undress themselves?
she'll pull her arms out and put them in when dressing. She's now taking her shoes and pushes them towards her feet.

does your dc use utensils?
Just letting her get used to the fork

favorite thing to do:
be outside, read her books, dance, listen to music

recent accomplishment:
standing for long periods by herself

issues:
gas backup

still on soy since he had ear issues--24 oz a day

2 naps 10:30 - 11:30; 3:00- 4:00

"mama" and "dada". "two" after I say "one", "what's that?", "bye"

does your dc help dress/undress themselves?
puts hands up to help me get his onesie off

does your dc use utensils?
Just letting him get used to the spoon

favorite thing to do: play with my cell phone;be outside, read his books, dance, listen to music

recent accomplishment:
sitting up in crib from a laying down position; almost has 4 teeth

issues:
gonna have to get rid of the bottles soon

**She eats very quickly...continuously shovels it in. This girl can eat!

**I don't know...a lot! For breakfast, she eats a yogurt and 5 mini pancakes...I think she could probably eat more!

**1 morning nap: 11am-1pm; half the time she'll take an afternoon nap as well: 4:30-5:30pm

**Hmmmm...not many. Dada and Nana (banana) really.

**Hahahaha!! No! We can barely dress and undress her...she's a maniac!!

does your dc use utensils?
**No way--have not introduced them.

favorite thing to do:
**Wreak havoc all over the house! Destroy things; open, close and dismantle drawers; turn the TV on and off...you get the idea!

recent accomplishment:
**She started walking on 4/22...I guess that's the latest!

issues:
**None really. She eats and sleeps like a champ. She's generally a happy kid too!

about how much is eaten in a meal? 1 banana/5 strawberries/2crackers or 4 chicken nuggests with 1/2 cup peas & carrots or 1 waffle/1 jar apple pieces.

favorite food: Bananas!!!

how much milk a day? 20-24oz

how many naps and how long? Depends--we're transitioning from 2 1hr naps to 1 2hr nap.

how many real words? Mama, Dada, Hi, nana (banana), no, ball, 'up (cup), tickle tickle tickle (of all the easy ones we've tried, he picked that one up)

does your dc help dress/undress themselves? Yes. He helps with his shirt and tried to put on his socks and shoes--most of the time screaming while he's doing it.

does your dc use utensils? He will use the spoon like a champ, but only when he's eating oatmeal or yogurt. Otherwise, he throws in on the floor.

favorite thing to do: This is a hard one. Read books, watch Noggin, take a ride in the waggon or go on swings.

recent accomplishment: Starting to stand by himself.

issues: Biting me on the shoulder while I"m holding him.

about how much is eaten in a meal?

bkfast - either yogurt or 2 mini waffles
lunch - hummus and pita, yogurt, a jar of baby food, stage 3, carrot sticks, bananas, string cheese - she'll eat pretty much anything.

dinner - generally, whatever we're eating - mostly fish.

favorite food: waffles.

how much milk a day? 20-24oz

how many naps and how long? 2 a day. Nap 1 is at 9:30 and lasts an hour. Nap 2 is 2pm and lasts 90 minutes to 2 hours.

how many real words? Mama, Dada, Hi, Hello, Yum, Up.

does your dc help dress/undress themselves? not really - but she fights me less now.

does your dc use utensils? she's very good at taking the spoon and throwing it on the floor - but feeding herself? not at all.

favorite thing to do: run around and play outside in the yard, picking up blades of grass.

recent accomplishment: getting 4 more teeth right now - she'll have 12 any day now.

issues: generally none- she's really a laid back, happy little girl.

Breakfast---- 4/5 mini waffles or eggo muffin tops or 1 egg with cheese omlette or cheerios w/ milk... always with fruit... entire banana, entire orange, 1/2 container blueberries, 8-10 strawberries...etc...
Lunch- 1/2 to 3/4 grilled cheese or peanut butter and jelly or stage 3 meal or 1/2-3/4 slice pizza or entire large yogurt etc... always with some sort of veggie/fruit
Dinner- Usually whatever we are eating... including pasta, fish, chicken, beef... with veggies and fruit
Snacks- Puffs, Graham Crackers, Cheese, Veggie Sticks, Yogurt Melts

favorite food: Hmmm... blueberries

how much milk a day? She nurses 2x a day (once morning / once night) and gets an 8 1/2 ounce bottle of whole milk in the late afternoon... around 4pm

how many naps and how long? 1-2 naps... more 1 lately... lasts anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours... mostly 1 1/2 hrs

how many real words? Mama, dada, Dora(yes she's addicted), Non-(short for Nonny (her great gramma), Go, nana(short for banana), bye, no, baba (I think that's pretty much it..)

does your dc help dress/undress themselves? Actually yes... she steps out of her pants, lifts arms for shirt, pulls shirt over her head or pulls it off...

does your dc use utensils?
Uses spoon with my guidance...

favorite thing to do: dance to music

recent accomplishment: starting to repeat words more often

issues: still sleeps in our bed

how long does it take your dc to eat meals? Pretty quick, maybe 15 minutes

about how much is eaten in a meal? 1 1/2 eggos, one slice of bread with toasted cheese, 3 fish sticks w/ potatoes, 4 chciken nuggets....


favorite food: cheese, fish crackers, pizza

how much milk a day? maybe 18 ounces or so


how many naps and how long? one nap about an hour and a half
how many real words? dada, hiya, aly (our neighbor)


does your dc help dress/undress themselves? she steps out of her pants, lifts arms for shirt, puts feet out for shoes and socks

does your dc use utensils?
she uses a spoon for applesauce on bath nights

favorite thing to do: walk down to the neighbors house to wave to her cats

recent accomplishment: she is finally sitting still in the toddler rocker for a few minutes at a time. I am glad she is finally sitting still!

issues: molars are coming in so weve had some bad nights lately.

The amounts he eats really varies. Sometimes he'll eat a lot, other days he'll only eat little bits of solid food.

how much milk a day?
I'm still BFing DS. He's drinking 9-12 oz of pumped milk while I'm at work. And BFs 3-4 times when we're together. (Weekends he strictly BFs)

how many naps and how long?
Still at two naps. The first one is around 10/11a and it's about an hour. The second is around 4 and it's an hour and a half and sometimes two hours

how many real words?
Mama, Dada/Daddy, No, Nana, Duh (Done), ball. My mom also told me that he tells the dog "back off" when he's had enough of her (she baby sits him). It also sounds like he's trying to say his name sometimes. And every once in a while I swear that he says a work and then I never hear it again.

does your dc help dress/undress themselves?
Yes. He knows how to push his arms through the sleeves. We also tell him "hands up" when we're undressing him and he raises his arms so we can pull the shirt off.

does your dc use utensils?
He's starting to use a spoon. He puts it into the bowl and moves it around. Then he'll put it in his mouth and sometimes there's actually some food on the spoon when he does.

favorite thing to do:
The LOVES, LOVES, LOVES going outside.

recent accomplishment:
He's finally learning to fall asleep with out being rocked. (I haven't rocked in in two weeks now!!!!)

issues:
I really don't have any issues. But since he's running all over, I'm finding it exhausting at times to keep up with him.
