DD was born in April, she weighs 20 lbs now... she has been out of the infant carrier for a couple of months already. I couldn't take the weight of her in the carrier since I have to walk pretty far to get to my car every day and go up a flight of stairs too! I actually find it easier to just carry her upright in my arms.
The only time I miss it is when she falls asleep in the car and I end up waking her up trying to get her out of the car seat.

DS born 4/17

He was born weighing 6 pounds 9 ounces, 19 1/2 inches long

At his 7 month visit, he is still a little guy weighing in at 15 pounds, 12 ounces, 26 1/4 inches.

I still have him in his infant car seat (Peg Perego Primo Viaggio) and probably will for a while longer. I don't, however, carry him around in it anymore, except bringing him to and from daycare. I do still use it in the stroller though. I have the Britax Roundabout for when he's ready!
