Moms of boys: When did DS start walking?
Jacob will be 13 months next week and he is taking little steps but not really walking. He stands on his own without a problem. I know some children walk a little later than others and people tell me that boys tend to walk later. TIA!

10.5 months. He started cruising at like 8 months.
IMO boys are earlier walkers, but later talkers. All my friends daughters seem to be talking much more than the boys are.
eta...I swear to god this is true. I saw a friend of mine at playgroup on Monday and her 9.5 month old is walking. Very scary!!!

11.5 months was full on walking. He was taking a few steps on his own starting at 10 months.

DS#1 walked at 15 months and DS#2 is almost 13 months and is cruising everywhere and has attempted steps but isnt quite yet doing it alone.

For BOTH of my sons- 18 months when they were "offical" walkers (no hand-holding/ walkers/ cruising).

thank you everyone...I feel a little better now! I keep hearing from my friends that have daughters that they are walking before 1 year  I couldnt even imagine
