sprucing up frozen veggies?
what do you do to your frozen veggies? I just realized how dreadfully boring my veggies always are. Give me some ideas!

Re: sprucing up frozen veggies?
I take frozen green beans and saute them with some minced garlic and low sodium soy sauce.
Sometimes I will steam them (we use the California Blend a lot) and a little italian dressing and heat it up.
I know this is bad, sometimes I add some butter or parmesan cheese to the blend or plain broccoli.
Carrots I add a little butter and cinnamon/brown sugar.

Re: sprucing up frozen veggies?
I usually add garlic powder to the water when steaming them.
Nothing special but it helps.

fresh garlic and oil, low sodium soy sauce, lemon juice, oven roasted vs steamed.
