SPYWARE!
Last night I downloaded Microsoft ANti Spyware and it succesfully removed stuff I had not previously been able to get rid of with adaware or spyware Dr or anti virus stuff.
Well I just ran another full scan after one spyware was detected to be trying to install..
WELL 4 of them are BACK!! Pop ups are less but BACK.
ANY OTHER suggestions! ?????
My computer is running like a snail, shuts down Internet every 5 minutes. I wanna scream!

All that spyware hides... it is so annoying.
We actually had to re-format the whole computer.

go to symantec.com
on the bottom click where it says security check and then click virus detection. It' s going to scan your computer. it may take a while but you can't do anything else.
After that's done, write down all the results but for example it's going to come up like
www.adware.com/fen.exe, the last part of what comes up you are going to write that and do a search in your computer for all files and folders, you put that and it's going to search in your computer, when that comes up you will delete it. and so forth with the next one.
ask me if you need help.

Gonna try that now.
I have One spyware that keeps trying to re-install.
I have done 3 microsoft scans in the last 24 hours and some of the delted ones keep coming back!!!

I tried , but my computer keeps ending or having an error before the download finshes!
Im truly losing it! LOL

I use Adaware and Spywareblaster. Both seem to work pretty well. Make sure your antivirus software is up to date too.
