St Tropez Self Tan Express?
Anyone ever try this one? A blogger I follow recommended it, but it's kind of pricey for a self tanner so I wasnt' sure it was worth it. It's a mousse and you apply it, then shower it off after an hour for a lighter tan or up to 3 hours later for a darker tan.
Anyone try it?

I’ve never used this particular one but I find that in general the mousses come out streaky. Or maybe it’s just my crappy application technique.

Re: St Tropez Self Tan Express?
Yeah that worries me. They recommend applying with a mitt. I have never done that but maybe that helps.

I haven't tried this one but I buy Loving Tan that is also a moose and it's great. I apply it with a big round makeup brush all over my body. Leave it on for 3-5 hours rinse off and everything looks even. Nice bronzing look.

This is the brush I use Brush
How does the brush work with this? I have heard of this brand always being top rated but never tried it. I have been using the Jergens gradual one. I really want to try this, but how does the brush get the product evenly all over?

I have tried both the glove and I prefer the brush. To me it's easier and it gives me the perfect tan without missing any spots. I do circular motions with the brush all over my body. I saw a youtuber use it and rave about how mush easier it was so I tried it and loved it as well.

And it doesnt' leave swirls or brush marks in the tan?

When you first put it on it does not have that smell. It smells good actually. But all self tanners will eventually start to have that smell. I don't think of it as a bad smell but it's a distinct smell. Even when I have gotten spray tans. The next day it always has that same distinct scent. I think it's just a function of the ingredient that reacts with your skin to make it tan. It's like a protein of some kind. It fades in a day or so.
It's not hard to do it if you get the mitt. Do it in front of a full length mirror so you can see where it is going (It's tinted so you see right away where it is going). You might need your DH to get the middle of your back unless you are pretty flexible!
Follow the instructions- exfoliate and shave 24 hrs before. Leave it on 1 hour for light, 2 for medium, 3 for dark. But to be honest 3 hours isn't even that dark. It's very natural looking. I leave it on like 2 1/2-3 hours before I shower it off. When you shower it off- no soap. Just a warm water rinse.

Re: St Tropez Self Tan Express?
I just read some great reviews of this on one of my fb groups. People recommend putting it on with a fuzzy sock (sort of fleece like) over there.

You probably can but I do find the mitt works great and it's only like 10 bucks on Amazon and you can use it over and over again. Just rinse it out really well after using and let air dry
