Stage 2 carseat question
So what do you do once DC is out of the carrier and into the big carseat (Britax) and they need to be transferred from car to car. Do you transfer the seat from car to car? I can't imagine everyone having their own...I would need 1 for me, 1 for DH, once for my mom, one for my MIL, etc....and that obviously doesn't make sense....so I am assuming we will just move it from car to car, right?

Re: Stage 2 carseat question
We only have the one car for now but when we get another, we will buy another car seat. My mom also has one in her car.

Re: Stage 2 carseat question
We have one in each car...we shopped around and when we found sales, we bought them. Its too hard for me to move the seats each day (our parents alternate days babysitting). We bought seats that have a high weigh limit, so they will be using them for a long time.

Re: Stage 2 carseat question
We have one good one for us and lesser expensive ones for my parents and DH's car. The convertibles are not meant to really be regularly moved from one car to another.

This is what I would do----I had my seat checked by the police in our town and she said it was better once installed if left in, that way you know its in correctly/tightly enough

Re: Stage 2 carseat question
When we had them installed we were told that they are not to really be moved to much after that.
We have a britax for both mine and DH's car. My mom has a comfort sport, and I wouldn't let MIL drive DS.

Re: Stage 2 carseat question
we had 3....one for my mom, and one for DH and I. I would do what others suggested and have the more expensive ones be in yours and DHs car and maybe get a few inexpensive ones for your parents and ILS
The seats are a real pain to be taking in and out all of the time...

We have the same. The Eddie Bauer in my car, the Comfortsport in DH's and a Cosco Scenra in my parent's car.

Re: Stage 2 carseat question
OK, so looks like we are going to need to get a few more seats....anyone have any recommendations for something cheaper than Britax?
