Starting Maternity Leave in 2 Weeks
I decided since I'm not going to return to work after the baby is born that I'm going to start my maternity leave earlier. This way I can have time to myself and get ready for the baby to come. I contemplated on this for a while, but I'm done with this place and done with working. I've heard and read so many stories from mom's who were doing the same thing said it's the best decision they ever made. My DD is August 22th but with my GD not going so well, my little man will probably make his appearance earlier than that. So with that, my last day of work will be July 6th! I'm so excited but at the same time nervous.

Yeah, this was a tough decision but I feel in my heart it's a good one.
As far as the GD, I'm on insulin 3x a day, plus a strict diet and my numbers still are not where they should be. They either go too low or too high. When they get too low, I get dizzy, sweaty and feel so lightheaded - like i'm going to faint. I'm going back to the doctor tomorrow to see why this is happening.

good for you! take the time to enjoy being pregnant and taking care of yourself while you can before the baby is born! afterwards will be hard enough adjusting!
