As a Mom of a three year old I would be embarrassed and appalled if Damien did that to a baby!! I would have apologized profusely to the parents of the baby!! Shame on that boy but even more shame to the mother

You went with your gut and the sad thing is you are most likely one of the first people who yelled at him... It was wrong what he did and maybe the mother ignoring you is that she did not understand you or just did not care.. maybe she had 4 more kids at home and this one just gets ignored and he was acting out for attention.
There are just some people out there who do not deserve to be parents.
Even when we go to play places I stand over DD like a hawk because i do not want her to grab or push anyother kids.. she always seems to be the receipient of the bulling and the mother is neevr around.. that irritates me
ou had every right to be upset... this chids behavior was so wrong...

So sorry poor baby!
I know my DH would have gotten a phone call from the jail house from me. I know for a fact, I either would have pushed that kid, grabbed his arm fiercely and shove him to his mother yelling at her like crazy- making a scene to let people know what her kid did. I wouldnt care about what people thought about me who is protecting her child from an ignorant kid and mother!!!
But I dont know if when DD is old enough to understand my reaction would I do the same thing so that she doesnt think violence is ok. I would at that point def grab the kid bring him to his mother and demand an apology and/or yell at her.
